Your mandatory legal rights under your applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products are not affected by this Warranty. If you, however, have purchased the Product in a member state of the European Union or Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey, this Warranty is valid and enforceable in all of these countries.

4. Software. The computer may have bugs, and probably has. Although the efforts we made to avoid and find them, they could be there. The software has been tested in many different conditions, from the most common diving profiles to particularly unusual and extreme situations. However, it may be that there are situations not considered in which the computer behaves in an unforeseen way, especially if used outside the standards and procedures normally used in recreational diving. All computers can fail, so it is not wise to depend exclusively on them. It is strongly recommended to users to use a second computer or tables and always have a plan on how to handle failures.

RATIO® shall not be liable for delay in rendering service under the warranty, or loss of use during the period that the product is being repaired.

Care and Maintenance
RATIO® dive computer is a sophisticated precision instrument. Though designed to withstand the rigors of scuba diving you must treat it with proper care and caution as any other precision instrument.
Contacts and Push ButtonsContamination or dirt on the contacts/connector or push buttons may prevent the automatic activation of the Dive Mode (or activates on its own) and cause problems during the data transfer. It is important that the dive computer is carefully washed in fresh water after the day's diving is completed. Never use compressed air to dry Products. Never try to open the case of Products.
Service your dive computer every 30 months or after 300 dives (whichever comes first) by RATIO® or a RATIO® Authorized Service Centre. This service will include a general operational check, replacement of the parts that require it, and water resistance check. The service requires special tools and training. Therefore, it is advisable to contact an authorized RATIO® dealer or distributor for periodical service.
Protect the Product from shock, extreme heat, direct sunlight, and chemical attack. The dive computer cannot withstand the impact of heavy objects like scuba cylinders, nor chemicals like gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesive agents, paint, acetone, alcohol etc. Chemical reactions with such agents will damage case and finish. Store your dive computer in a dry place when you are not using it.
Do not leave the device completely out of power for a long period as specified in User's Manual, this may damage the battery! Do not fasten the strap of your dive computer too tightly. You should be able to insert your finger between the strap and your wrist.
