Ratio Computers Support: General Questions
Does iX3M2 have Bluetooth connection/smartphone app?

iX3M2 is equipped with BLE Bluetooth and is can be connected to smartphones.
We are developing the app for the smartphones, it will be released in late 2023, but I do not have a release date yet.
At the moment I know that third party app (like subsurface) already works with the iX3M2 Bluetooth but they are very basic.

Is there a clock and battery indicatio in iX3M2 while diving?

Yes, press D button (last button on the right). The clock and battery will appear in the center-bottom part of the display.

Note that The clock in the dive mode has been added in with OS 5.1.9.
To update your unit use the Ratio ToolBox available here:

My iX3M2 is fully out of power and it is not turning on, even if plugged to the wall charger.

When fully discharged the iX3M2 activates the "battery safe mode". iX3M2 uses some % of power to preserve the battery from over discharging (over discharging badly damages the battery). This means that iX3M2 will take 1-2 hrs of recharge before to deactivate the "battery safe mode" and turn ON.

Double check that the USB adapter is connected in the right way.

Ratio Computers FAQs: Wireless Transmitter
Using mu iX3M / iX3M2 / iDive I have to stay very close to the transmitter to get the pressure tank value.

When the iX3M / iX3M2 / iDive is outside of the water its radio power is automatically reduced to save battery and to avoid interferences coming form other radio sources.

When iX3M / iX3M2 / iDive detects that the dive has stared it automatically increases the radio power. So if you are not diving you need to place the transmitters very close to the iX3M / iX3M2 / iDive to get the signal.

Which wireless Transmitter can I use with my Ratio Computer?

Our dive computers work only with Ratio Computer Wireless Transmitters.
Wireless Transmitters from other brands are incompatible with our dive computers.

All iX3M 2 dive computer are compatible with the Color Coded Wireless Transmitter.
All iDive COLOR dive computer are compatible with the Color Coded Wireless Transmitter.

In case you have iDive Sport / iDive Avantgarde or the first generation of iX3M, check this link for the compatibility check:

Ratio Computers FAQs: iDive Sport
The iDive Sport is emitting not-too-loud beeping noises (audible from less than 50cm with a sensitive ear like mine, otherwise only from up close).

The iDive Sport can module the frequency of the processor in order to save battery when the full calculation power is not needed.
Changing the frequency of the processor make its "sound" enter in the audible range frequency of the human ear.
E.g. Activating the back-light make the processor to work at higher frequency, so the sound almost disappear.
